Built by builders, for builders.
LaraKey started as the system a remodeling company built for itself, because nothing else fit how its jobs actually ran.
Our story
Lara Building Group is a remodeling and construction company. Like most contractors, it ran on a patchwork: a spreadsheet for leads, another for estimates, a folder of proposals, invoices in one app, crew hours on paper, receipts in a truck, and a lot of group texts.
Every gap cost something. A follow-up that slipped and a job that went to someone else. A progress invoice that billed a line twice. A crew member waiting on a material order nobody saw. An estimate priced at “10 and 10” that never actually made 10.
So we built LaraKey: one place for the whole job, from the first call to the final payment, and the payroll, overhead and books in between. It runs Lara Building Group every day, and every feature exists because a real job needed it.
What we believe
Built from real jobs
If it doesn’t help on an actual job, it doesn’t ship.
Protect the money
The rules that keep you from billing twice or losing a receipt belong in the software.
Simple beats clever
Plain words, big buttons, nothing to configure before you can work.
Everyone included
The office, the field and the owner, in English or Spanish, on any device.
The company
